Dialogue Capsule Collection
COLLECTION | Oct 31, 2018 | By REBECCA LEE
For those who have been with Stoned & Co. since the beginning might remember one of our then Capsule Collection with the same name, Dialogue. This time around, Stoned By Stoned & Co. will be bringing back the signature graphic of the Dialogue capsule collection which is that of a Japanese Maple Leave in an irregular silhouette of the sound frequency.
The Dialogue Capsule Collection back in the days was created to bring together the three main languages in Malaysia – Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese and Tamil which is why the characters of these languages were made as some of the main graphics for the collection then. The scripts and characters were combined to form a unique and distinguished pattern exhibiting the reality that when differences come together, they can indeed shape into one single form. Languages represents the culture of its origin and sometimes, there are objects or circumstances that cannot be explained in a different language which can lead to misunderstandings. This is where we give our inner dialogue a check and with an open mind, misconceptions can turn into valuable knowledge, hence, breaking down the barrier of language.
In 2018, the Dialogue Capsule Collection will focus more on the signature graphic of the Japanese Maple Leaf that is portrayed in different monotonous tones in an asymmetrical shape which represents the sound frequency of different dialogues happening at once. In other words, as long as the message is the same, no matter what language is used, it can unite and form a strong bond and entity like how the various colours and shapes assemble the Japanese Maple Leaf in this capsule collection.
The Dialogue Capsule Collection will be available on the 31st of October 2018 at all stores and on www.stonedandco.com
